I met Janine and Warren a few years ago for another shoot so it was really special to see them again for a family photoshoot in the park. I just love meeting up with clients again and seeing how their families have changed.
Jaime and Aiden were so awesome running around Delta Park this weekend. Aiden even asked for me to carry him for a part of the shoot! He was so cool :). He really did love seeing his photos in the viewfinder.
I met the family at the top of the park so that we could take advantage of the dam and the tiny spot filled with dandelions. I knew from last week that there was a small section with the end of the cosmos flowers, so I wanted to take advantage of that too.
I spotted the gorgeous natural arch as we were walking from the dam to the cosmos section, and I was thrilled that I’d found a new spot for photos! I love how the trees frame the family.
I reckon this has to be one of the best kids running shots I’ve taken. Completely unplanned!
The veld at this time of the year is magnificent. The golden shades are so very beautiful!
The kids had never blown dandelions before, so this was so much fun!
Then finally, we took full advantage of the leaves on the ground.
It was such a fun afternoon exploring the park and experiencing new things.
