THREE CORNERS - JULY
I chose Art as the theme this month.  I had such grand ideas of taking some shots of true African art, but I ran out of time.  LOL!  So, instead, here are 3 shots of different types of art that I see around me most days.

I took this one at the beginning of the month. It’s by far the best piece of graffiti around here. I think it’s incredible.
I took it in an open piece of ground between Darrenwood and Linden in Johannesburg.

I posted something similar a few days ago, but I just love these massive chess pieces. They’re about thigh height, on a massive chess board at Misty Hills hotel in Muldersdrift

And then I couldn’t resist taking these photos of Bradley tonight. He made this clown suit out of paper and cardboard at school today. I love all his artwork that he brings home!

This is the fourth month of the Three Corners project, and it was by far the most difficult! Basically, 3 bloggers from 3 corners of the world setting out to post 3 photos at the end of every month based on a topic chosen at the beginning of the month. Lindy set the topic this month…
CIRCLES INSIDE SQUARES
And OMW, was it tough! So, without further ado, here is my take on the theme.

(excuse the different siggies, I’ve got a new PC and I’m playing with PS CS3 and my old templates are not working anymore)

Corey chose the theme of Light for the month of May. I know it’s a bit late this month, but we all forgot to post :)

I know I’ve shown this one earlier in the month, but this is my favourite shot of the month and I think it’s just a perfect example of natural light.

I took these 2 from the car park at work two weeks ago when I worked late.

I can’t wait to see what Lindy chooses as the theme for June ;)

It’s time for April’s Three Corners challenge.
I set the theme for this month, which was “Seasons”. I thought it would be a good one with me being in Autumn and Lindy and Corey being in Spring at the moment.
I thought at first that it was easy, but I had such a hard time choosing which photos to show you today. You’ve only seen one of them before, the other 2 I kept for this challenge.

The next two were taken at Emmerentia Dam on Sunday.

Lindy and Coreys’ posts are already up, so check them out too. You can also check out our Flickr group.

I can’t wait for next month’s challenge now… Corey is deciding on a theme for May.

March was month 1 of a new challenge. 3 bloggers (clearly including me) in 3 corners of the world got together last month and decided to gather photos according to a theme every month.
This month’s theme was Street Photography.
Here are my photos, the first 2 were taken this evening:

Road in the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve

Corey and Lindy are the other bloggers in on this challenge, please visit their blogs to see their photos for the month.
