A Wedding Workshop at Forum Homini

I attended the RE.Invent workshop that was held in the gorgeous surroundings of Forum Homini, in the Cradle of Humankind, today.  The wedding photography workshop was held by Dror Eyal and Andrea Carlysle, and it was amazing! I learnt so much, and got to spend some time chatting to photographers that I’ve only chatted to...

Madi (1 comments.) - February 25, 2010 - 9:33 am

Love the last one. Like the fact that the bride changed her hair for different shots

Phil Mitchell - February 25, 2010 - 5:53 am

Gen is my daughter and I really love the photos you have taken.
Well done – she looks beautiful and Greg, as always, is with her in everything she does.
Best of luck from a very proud Dad.

They’re fantastic Jeanette!!

Jackie K - February 24, 2010 - 9:17 am

Wish you were around when I got married!
Simply stunning.
Shot number 10 is my fav.

Girish (38 comments.) - February 24, 2010 - 9:06 am

Too good :)

I still feel I like your earlier logo. The flower isn’t looking that nice.

ah yeh it’s going to tough to pick 5 shots.

The third last shot is pretty similar to a a bit old bollwood shot where the actress in the lead role poses someways similarly. The fabric in her hand would be generally a ‘dupatta’.

Take care.

Firefly (250 comments.) - February 24, 2010 - 8:54 am

Simply stunning shots… as expected of you

Mandy (15 comments.) - February 24, 2010 - 8:48 am

Eclipsed Blue Moon

The highlight of my evening last night (it was a quiet one) was taking photos of the moon!
I’d read in the newspaper earlier in the day, that it was a Blue Moon and that there was a partial eclipse expected around 8:30pm.  And then I promptly forgot about it!
Then, I took Bradley outside last night...

It’s a great start to the year. :) It’s said 2010 will have lot of such beautiful sky attractions, waiting to see all of them.

Great photo.

Susanne Van Hulst (29 comments.) - January 2, 2010 - 5:35 am

You’ve captured the blue moon so nice. I have not seen any blue color in our Florida moon :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The ruin in the late afternoon

Elaine and Bryan

Remember the ruin where I took photos of my sister, Elaine (who now has a blog btw) and her boyfriend Bryan (who has now designed a blog for his sister who is travelling around Africa)…

… well, I went there again late this afternoon to see if it was still there… and still had no fences...

Sunrise over Jozi

I went on another photo excursion to Soweto this morning with 3 other photographers.  We left just as early as the last trip, but this time we got to watch the sun rise at Soccer City (the new stadium being built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup) on the way to Soweto from Johannesburg.
I’ll be...

The stadium is going to be huge, by looks of things and quite unique.
Those old shacks don’t look too pretty, I hope no one still lives in there with the big rats!

Kevin (1 comments.) - May 2, 2009 - 1:35 am

It’s an interesting contrast between the new outrageously expensive stadium and the old market stalls. Will the stalls remain for long or be moved like Beijing?
