2 of my baby photos have been used as the covers of medical news magazines
How cool is that?! I got contacted a couple of months ago by a publishing company who wanted to use 2 of my photos that they found on my blog. Both moms agreed, and they got printed. I finally got my copies of the journals yesterday, and I love how they turned out.

This time it’s a small journal… next time it’ll be a major magazine
A simple photo for the day today… I’m doing a wedding later today, and won’t be able to publish the photos for a while
Remember I took a photo of Bradley in September with the intention to have a canvas made to match the one of Connor that’s now on my wall? Well I collected it on Saturday… and I’m so very pleased with it! This one is the same size as the one I did of Connor a few weeks ago – 50cmX60cm

Remember Angel and Neels’ wedding a few months ago? And their Trash the Dress shoot? And Angel’s dress fitting shoot?
Well, I’m delivering her albums today (containing images from all 3 events), and I’m so excited about them
I do like the way they’re turned out, if I do say so myself.
It’s really worth spending the money and getting proper albums done.
Angel ordered 3 albums.
The main one is a genuine leather bound 30 page designer album that is 30cmX30cm in size, and is housed in a lined cherrywood box.
She also ordered 2 brag books. One for her parents, and one for Neels’ parents. These ones are 15X20cm (A5 landscape) and bound in black leather too. The pages of these books are not as thick as the main album, but still lie flat when opened, and each album has 11 pages, and contains images more specific to each side of the family.

And this is what the main album looks like inside:

One of my clients asked me to print 3 20×20 canvases using photos I’d taken of her family, so I used the opportunity to also print a canvas for my house!! It’s about time I printed my own photos
I used a photo that took of Connor at the beginning of 2009, and had a 50cm by 60cm canvas printed and stretched. The photo doesn’t actually do the size of the canvas justice, but it’s rather large.
He loves that the canvas is on the wall and it’s so big
and mentioned it every time he walked down or up the stairs over the weekend. LOL! I want to get another 3 done in the same size to make a feature wall… it’s a LARGE wall with a double volume ceiling so there’s more than enough space.

Remember the maternity shoot I did for Lerato a few months ago, and then Kutloano’s newborn shoot? Well, the family decided not to take the prints as part of the bump to babe package, and instead had a book printed with photos from both photoshoots.
I was finally able to collect it today and I’m thrilled with it! It’s a 30 page (60 side) A4 landscape classic book with printed cover, and it’s in a black linen box. As you can see, the pages open flush because of the paper/board used. Lerato wanted the first half of the book to contain photos from her maternity shoot, and the rest of the book has the newborn photos (with some special words from mom and dad to Kutloano on some pages too). In fact, I’m so thrilled with it, that I think I’m going to get another one printed for my portfolio.
