Gotta love the late sunsets at the moment, so the kids took full advantage of the light, and had a swim after a tough game of cricket with dad in the garden. I took the opportunity to get re-acquainted with my back-up camera, the 50D. This time using my Canon 70-200mm lens…
And of course, what’s photos of my family without some of the huskies…

M beautiful Canon 5D MKII got stolen out my car and I’m meeting the insurance assessor in the morning so y’all pray Outsurance pays out… please!! I’ve got the replacement quotes as they asked, have been through the police mills etc, now it’ the assessor’s turn.

I know it’s unusual for me to post personal photos on a weekend, but I’m so proud of Connor right now (I did do a shoot this morning but not going to post the images online)
Connor got in the pool this afternoon, and after a bit I convinced him to take his armbands off to practise his swimming again. He’s getting more and more confident without the armbands, and today I think we made a break through
He swam underwater for the first time… and then he floated on his back!! Without armbands I’m THRILLED!

I cannot imagine having a cold Christmas. Even though experiencing a white Christmas is on my bucket list, I love that we’re swimming and having fun outside at Christmas time, and Christmas day would not be the same without a dip in the pool.
I took this a few days ago, and I was hoping to have a few different swimming shots today, but I took them with a Sony A77 that I’m reviewing for Girl Guides, and I can’t get the photos of the card… not sure if it’s the card or the reader at this point, and I don’t feel like fighting with it, so you’ve just got Bradley tonight…

I’ve been swimming with the boys almost every afternoon, and it’s made such a difference with Connor. At the beginning of summer, he was too scared to even go into the pool without me. Now he’s doing so well!! Well, as long as he has his wings on… and his latest trick is a pair of Bradley’s old goggles.
He also reached a milestone this afternoon, he was swimming under water!! How cool!
