I did what I’ve been threatening to do for ages… I cut my hair off this morning and went darker
and I feel better about myself already! Not that you can see the colour really, but it’s a plum colour.

And here’s another photo taken by Lance to show more of the style and a bit of the colour

Going to work was the last thing I felt like doing when I got up this morning

Before I start on today’s post… an announcement… drumroll… I’m now fully booked until the end of 2009, if you’d like a photoshoot with me, please be aware that I’m only taking bookings for 2010 now (and onwards considering I have a booking for January 2011 as well).
A colleague started calling me “Jenny from the Blog” months and months ago, and eventually whole IT team caught on to it. Then today, my team working on a particular project were presented with caps all gorgeously wrapped. The caps had been embroidered with our office nicknames… and here’s mine…

So of course I had to try it out when I got home this evening… pic courtesy of my husband, Lance.

I am SO tired of wearing back dresses (full story a few days ago), and after 5 days, the only people that did notice, were the people who I know read my blogs. Shows you how invisible you are when you’re part of a large organisation.
Anyhoodle, here are the last 2 dresses in my LBD challenge to myself, and I must say that I’m so very tired of black dresses now… so much so, that bought a brown and red dress on the way home this evening
Day 4: Sleeveless wraparound dress with full skirt and high heeled strappy sandals
Day 5: Puff sleeved wraparound dress with flat pumps (I always wear flat shoes on a Friday)
And the 6th black dress is going to be retired… I’ve decided that I’m probably never going to wear it again.
As for the comments on my last post about all the shoes… I wear a different pair of shoes every day of the week, because my feet get so tired. I put that down to the few years that I worked at Woolies and wore high heels every day… my feet really suffered then, and I find my feet don’t get as tired if I wear different shoes.
Now Sam at work thinks that’s a load of hooey and that it’s all in my head… but here you go Sam, I’ve found an article that backs up what I said earlier today… the same pair of style of shoes should not be worn 2 or more days in a row as it puts repeated pressure on the same areas of the foot causing irritation and misalignment problems

Last week I went shopping to get an outfit to wear to the Batmitzvah because I was convinced I had nothing in my wardrobe. I couldn’t find anything I liked for the occasion, but instead found a new black dress.
As I mentioned on my other blog, I got home to discover that I’ve now got 6 black summer dresses! So I declared this week LBD week… and today is the third day of my black dress showdown… and apart from the few people that read my blog, no-one has even noticed! LOL!!
Anyhoodle, I’ve had a few requests on Twitter for some photos of the dresses, so Lance has been roped into taking some photos every evening of a very unmodel-like me. Tomorrow I’ll try figure out another way to stand ‘cos I’ve noticed that I favourite the one side… LOL!
Day 1 was a dress with detailed folds on the sleeves, and that funny foldy fabric that folds over the skirt
Day 2 was a three quarter sleeved a-line dress
Day 3, today, was a babydoll shaped dress (the new addition to my wardrobe) with my favourite rock-chick shoes
Hehe, lets see if anyone notices by Friday… but I’m guessing no-one will at this rate!
