This was SUCH a fun family photoshoot! I met the Buchanan family this afternoon at Delta Park for a family Lifestyle photoshoot, and their son Matthew is such a cute little one year old boy that made me smile so much. As you do with one year olds, the photoshoot went at his pace and we did what he wanted to do… today this meant hardly any seated photos and a LOT of him being walked.
And very excitingly… he took one independant step today on the grassy slopes
Another first for him was the fun he had at the playground… he was enthralled by the bright jungle gyms and the other kids screaming and running around. He’s just dying to get going with his walking, and I’m sure it’ll be a few days and he’ll be properly independant. Too cute!
I just LOVE it when kids start walking and their hands are up in the air for balance

The planes flying past were very distracting for him… and perfect for photo posing
LOL!

Standing….

… look I took a step…

… oh no…

A “buuurrr” (plane)

It was a fun afternoon
I’ve put these and a few more on Facebook too… leave the family a message in the comment section here… or on Facebook
We’re back!!
Hope you missed me
and if you were… here are my favourite images from every day of our trip to Shelly Beach on the Natal South Coast.

If you want to see more, there are loads on my Jenty blog
We drove to Parys today to spend a few hours with Lance’s mom, and took the kids scooters along to keep them occupied. They loved riding on the empty roads… I loved the autumn colours in the trees… so of course I had to take photos…

And now the studio is on holiday
See you in a week
(I may post beach photos while I’m there, but don’t count on it)
Taken today… more photos on my other blog…
My mom has been trying to get the kids to sit on her log at the top of the garden for months… and today we looked outside the window and Connor and Erin were calmly sitting there eating her birthday cake
so of course I had to run with my camera to get a shot of it!!
No posing involved just real life in action…

Lance let the kids play with their paintball gun this afternoon… and shoot the garden wall.
Connor got the gun as a birthday present from someone, and we actually hide the paintballs away until he can play with it with us around… just in case…
