67/365 – I heart autumn

My silver birch trees are always the first to change into their autumn colours, and it was the first time I’ve noticed the shape of the leaves!  My next lens HAS to be a macro lens so I can do them proper justice, but the 50mm f1.8 did it’s magic this evening

36/365 – Break free

Nothing too interesting today, I left my camera at home when I took Bradley to a party.  I did, in fact, do that on purpose so that I got a bit of a break between yesterday’s wedding, and the 2 shoots I’m doing tomorrow.
This morning however, Connor saved a butterfly from the pool with his...

32/365 – homegrown rosa tomatoes

A few months ago, I noticed these weed looking plants growing amongst the roses in my garden, and I asked Andrew (my gardener) to take them out when he came to work one Saturday.  He took one look at them and told me they weren’t weeds they were baby tomato plants!!  Very weird that they...

cat@juggling act (85 comments.) - February 3, 2010 - 9:35 am

Every so often we have a few of these popping up in the garden. Someone told me it is seeds distributed by birds form someones garden near. Does that possibly make sense?

Jackie K - February 3, 2010 - 8:40 am

6/365 – Dreamy Agapanthas

I got home a bit late today, and the kids were all too grumpy for photos because they’d had friends over for a playdate and swim.  So I went into my garden for today’s photo.
The agapanthas were just begging for extra treatment with a texture and the use of Coffeetea’s Memories of Summer action

I love...
