A colleague of mine mentioned the other day that she’d never gone to the company pond in the gardens to see the swans and geese that live there. I couldn’t have that, so I took my camera along today when I gave her a quick “tour”. Hehe, it was a good excuse for me to get there and take some photos of the swans again. I haven’t been there in months!
Not very many people in the building know how to even get to the pond, and the gardens are hardly used, so it’s a very secluded and quiet spot for the birds.

Portrait of a Black Swan

Christine took bread with her to feed them, and afterwards this swan dunked itself in the pond and preened for ages to get clean again.

Lindy set the theme for the month, and although I had so many ideas, I ended up rushing it again.  LOL!  Here is my take on “Reflections”.

I’m actually going to go back and take this again when the weather is cloudy. I didn’t realise that the sun would also cause the shiny stones in the one building to reflect light too.

I am beautiful!

The black swans in the office gardens were perfect posers for me today :)   I need to get there much earlier in the day though, so that I don’t catch that glare so much.  I’ll do this one again too, sometime in the future, to see whether I can get a better shot for camera club.

And that’s me!

Thats me
