Before I start on today’s post… an announcement… drumroll… I’m now fully booked until the end of 2009, if you’d like a photoshoot with me, please be aware that I’m only taking bookings for 2010 now (and onwards considering I have a booking for January 2011 as well).
A colleague started calling me “Jenny from the Blog” months and months ago, and eventually whole IT team caught on to it. Then today, my team working on a particular project were presented with caps all gorgeously wrapped. The caps had been embroidered with our office nicknames… and here’s mine…

So of course I had to try it out when I got home this evening… pic courtesy of my husband, Lance.

Wordless and Wordful Wednesday posts can be found all over the blogosphere
The kids dressed up this evening for Halloween, and even though we didn’t go trick or treating on the road (will not work on our road), we pretended to do it at home. They carried little buckets and knocked on the front door and patio doors and got sweets in return

I should really have used my flash for the photos, even at ISO800 the shutter speed wasn’t fast enough for his movements.
Next year, we’ll go to one of the Halloween bashes around town and trick or treat properly, but they had fun anyway
Even though Connor’s eyes still look so very blue in photos, they are changing. Just like Bradley’s did at the same age, his eyes are more grey now, and sometimes you can see the green starting to show. In a few months time, I’m convinced that his eyes will be as green as Bradley’s are.

I’m getting home far too late these days to take photos without my flash, so I got my flash out this evening before it got really dark to see if I could get good photos of Bradley jumping and still keep the colours in the sky… and I succeeded
My flash work is definitely improving!

Fiona organised a “surprise” lunch for Sue’s birthday, that didn’t end up being much of a surprise as it seems quite a few people gave it away… but we had a good time this afternoon at Tres Jolie anyway

The restaurant was a lovely place to take the kids. The service could have been better, in fact, it was not good at all… but the food was divine (albeit a little expensive for some items ito what you got) and the play area magnificent. It was really nice not to have to worry about the kids too much and have a good natter with friends

And last but not least… my favourite photo of the entire week…
