When Adila contacted me a few months ago to book this photoshoot, it was meant to be a “day after” shoot with their wedding outfits  - it ended up being a casual shoot instead.  She also mentioned in one of her first emails that they loved the look of the veld, but also liked the photos I’d taken in Newtown and Johannesburg CBD.  I LOVE that she liked my location idea, and that we went with that in the end… because it mixes both options… a view of Jozi city as well as the veld (although it’s a pity that the veld had been cut/burnt over winter).

Brett and Adila are such an awesome couple, and I really enjoyed the photoshoot on top of the hill today  I especially love that I got to do a photoshoot overlooking my favourite city Jozi.  I also LOVE that I get clients that are willing to follow this seemingly crazy tog up random rocky paths to get to ridges and little forests… it’s all worth it in the end as we get awesome photos

This has to be one of my favourite places in Johannesburg, and I’m thrilled that I finally got to do a photoshoot here
