I took Lance and the boys to the old house in Honeydew today.  I’ve used the house for a number of photoshoots in the past, and because I hadn’t been there in about 2 years, I thought I’d better scout it out again before using it for an upcoming shoot.  Just as well I went there beforehand!!

So much for my idea of using the end of winter yellow veld against the setting sun for a shoot!! The veld has just been burnt, and is full of blackness, and some clever person decided to build a huge monument of sorts (it’s got something to do with the Cradle of Humankind), on the road!! It’s completely destroys the vista between the house and the sun!! LOL I know, it’s good that they’re actually uplifting the area, but really… on “that” road… how inconsiderate!

Anyway, it didn’t stop me and the kids from climbing through the house and having a bit of fun
