It’s Chad’s bar mitzvah on Saturday, and in preparation he had his rehearsal video’d and photographed.  I’ve done rehearsal photos plenty of times, but this was the first time I’d done photos at the same time as the videographer doing his bit… and because of that, it was actually the first time I’ve been through a full rehearsal of exactly what’s going to happen on Saturday.  Completely fascinating!!

I love this part of lifestyle and event photography… being part of something that is so very very special to a family, and even a rehearsal is just incredible!! It’s the first time, normally, that the mom and dad get to hear how much their son has learnt in the last year of training, and I LOVE seeing their faces… seeing the pride… and being a part of the moment.
