I met up with Niki (Connor’s teacher), and her daughter, Hannah, at the Glover Paddocks in Honeydew to take photos of her horse riding lesson today. What an awesome morning!   I haven’t taken photos of kids riding since Bradley stopped riding a few years ago, and really enjoyed doing it today…

For me, this is what Lifestyle Photography is about… completely natural and taking photos of what she loves doing…

I ended up not just taking photos of Hannah and Candy (the horse she rides), but of the other 3 kids that were having lessons with her too… which was great because I had so many opportunities to get the jump shots right.  I must say though, that my 5D mkii was a little slow for my liking for this kind of photography, I would have liked a faster burst of photos during the jumps.. but anyhoo… I guess that’s why I need the MKiii

Just look at the happiness on Hannah’s face… this was my first shot of the day and I just LOVE it!

This is one of the rescue donkeys that are living at the stables now.

As a treat, Hannah gives Candy 2 apples after every ride
