I went to Harare this weekend for Ron and Fungi’s wedding with Lauren Dold as my second photographer.  It was quite an event with over 300 guests, many of whom flew in from around the world to join them on their special day.  Ronald lives in London now, and they fell in love when she was visiting the city to buy a car. I actually love stories like this, where couples meet in far flung places in the world when they actually come from the same country!!

In a few weeks time, Fungi will be relocating to London to be with her husband :)

Anyway, on with the wedding… the full Catholic wedding ceremony was held at Nazareth House, followed by the reception at Zimbabwe Garden Weddings.

A quick prayer before leaving for the church…

The bridemaids welcoming the bride as she leaves the house…

A street procession to the reception, led by the Salvation Army band…
Some curious onlookers :)

and then it was party time…

There are a few more photos in a Facebook album.  If you were a guest at the wedding, you’ll be able to tag yourself in the Facebook album if you “like” the page
