Aasia is turning 30 this week, and in celebration she booked a photoshoot for herself and some friends. This wasn’t just any ordinary shoot either, she had specific ideas… the theme was “ballerina’s gone bad” and each person had to get dressed in a tutu. This shoot was such a lot of fun! We not only had 5 ballerinas but we also had a holy man of sorts.
Aasia organised the Circle Bar at Crowne Plaza hotel as the venue for the shoot, which was a challenge of note because of the lack of any ambient light. All the inside shots were done with OCF using 2 flashes. And then we managed to find a bare wall outside which we used for the end of the shoot, and we were all quite thankful to get into the fresh air in the end.

Don’t you love the socks that Nafisa wore?
Just loved Denielle’s lips which were covered in hundreds and thousands

Zahira even got her shirt ripped for the occasion
And Kellen’s tights were too cool, and I loved the purple tutu
LOL and check out John’s outfit

Aasia said she could only do funny photos… she couldn’t do hot… hmm think I proved her wrong

Hope they had as much fun as I did.
There are a few more photos in a Facebook album which you’ll be able to comment on when you “like” the page

Thank you for an amazing morning. So much of fun and it was such a brilliant load of firsts for us all.
Perfect way to celebrate Aasia’s birthday. <3
Pretty photos or pretty girls. The flash photos don’t look so great, they look like a spotlight was used. Your talent is photographing in natural light. The natural light photos are amazeballs.
