There’s nothing close to glass when choosing a vessel to hold a bunch of flowers.  And when it’s a simple bunch from the garden that you’ve picked, or lovingly picked flowers picked by your kids… a small unassuming vase always works best.  My mom, cleverly, keeps a few small glass coke bottles for that reason… and I love the way the flowers look in these recycled vases.

It’s International Glass Week this week, did you know that?  The aim is to promote the benefits of using glass.  To me it’s a no brainer, there’s no way I’d get this authentic look with any other material.
