The last workshop I ran for moms in March 2011 was such a success, that I’ve organised another one!! It’s not quite the same structure as I did learn a few things… like having the mom’s kids present was not a good idea
so this time I’ll get someone to bring some kids half way through the afternoon. I’ve also chosen a venue with loads of photo opportunities and lots of space outside for kids to run.

Date: 2 July 2011
Time: 1pm to 5pm
Venue: Amakoekoe Guest Lodge, Honeydew in Johannesburg
Who should attend: Beginners with any type of digital stills camera who would like to raise their photographic game. Limited to 14 moms.
What to bring with you: Your camera (DSLR or point and shoot)
What it includes:
1. Learning how your camera’s buttons actually work
2. Simple tricks and tips that help me take photos of kids
3. Concepts: Aperture, Depth of Field, Shutter Speed and ISO
4. Basic rules of composition that make all the difference.
5. Q&A time
6. Practice time after the explanation of each concept, and then a practice session at the end with a few children, while I explain how to improve your composition etc.
7. Drinks and snacks
If you’d like to book a spot, please send an email to jeanette@jeanetteverster.com. Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of 50% deposit.

I’m sure it’s going to be a huge success just like the last one

How I wish I could do this! Please say you’re going to be doing more of these workshops – I desperately want to attend one, but just can’t afford to right now!
