I’m kinda combining my themes today. I’ve been trying to take a B&W photo for this week’s MCP challenge, and at the same time, I’ve been fascinated by a few Australian photographers who are taking daily photos of their kids this month, but not posed photos. That’s important. I ask my kids too often to do something specific… and although it looks nice… it’s not always all that realistic about the way that they actually interact and what they do.

So I’m going to be trying to take a few more photos like that too… more photojournalistic style… and I’m going to include them in my boys 52 weeks project, and also have a series that I’m going to tag “Just Life”.

The photo I took also worked quite well in my mind for the MCP challenge… it’s been rainy here for days and the skies have been very gloomy and the kids are tired of TV… so they were watching Transformers on DVD when I took this… on a gray day!
