My dear friend Wenchy invited us to her annual Thanksgiving tea. It was awesome. Everyone brought a plate of eats, and those with small businesses donated a small gift for a few lucky draws… and the kids just played… and I took photos in between chatting and eating
Part of the day involves everyone sitting together and talking about what they’re thankful for.

Wenchy passed around a notebook where everyone wrote what they were thankful for… Connor drew a beautiful smiley face
Man, my boys made me proud!

Enthralled by the African Alphabet CD they won in the draw

And then the speeches started… Sir Noid went first.

I cannot describe how proud I was of Bradley. There must’ve been about 30 people there, mostly adult. He was the second person to stand up… in front of everyone… and give thanks!! WOW! Tears… people… tears were rolling down my face while he spoke. He said he was thankful for his wonderful life. He was also thankful for the world, and for the things that people do to help the world.
How awesome is my child?!

Hehe, Aaron was giving Paul a hard time when it was his turn to speak

I love the way Nicci‘s face lit up while her husband was speaking

The 7 week old foxy cross jack russel puppies stole the show however, and the girls were going gaga over them!

And lastly… how stunning are these Sass Design dresses worn by Gina and Leigh-Ann… I happen to own one too now!!

It was an awesome afternoon. Thanks so much Wenchy for inviting us!
I’ve put more photos in a Facebook album
Once again, you took my breathe away. Thank you for telling the story………. I love all the pictures – but the one with the candle was IT for me.
But… then, I suspect you would know that.
I love how you use your talent to make others appreciate what they have.
I love you my friend. x…. and thank you.
PS. Your son – wow…. wow – ….. wow!!!
Oh wow, Bradley did you so proud. What an amazing son you have. Great pics as always.

Bradley told me about his speech in front of everyone – wow – I am so proud of him! He will go far in life – I am so very proud to be his Granny
When he was in Grade 00 his teacher told me that he will be head boy of the school one day .. he’s definitely heading that way
