It’s not a walk when we take our huskies to the park… it’s a chase and a run and bit of a whine from Connor.  It’s exhausting!!

I’m very frustrated tonight, partly knowing that they’re THIS bad at the moment, because I haven’t had time to walk them every evening.  They were just insane again at the park tonight.  But this time, I thought I’d take photos of them again (because a client the other day said she hadn’t seen photos of my dogs recently)… so yes… a camera around my neck with 2 very boisterous 7 month old huskies and 2 kids… was a little mad :)

First, Connor… cos I just love how he’s mid air in this shot of him running up the hill.

Proof that he wasn’t lunatic for the whole “walk”, Kitara on the other hand was looney and was far too fast for any photos.

Ha… he got away… I was standing with treats in my hand hoping to train him to come to me.

Ja right… see that look in his eyes as he sprinted past me… he couldn’t give a damn about my bribes!

  • Oh gosh they do look like a handful. I have my hands full with one little daschund, so i can’t even imagine!!

  • I love Kimo’s tongue hanging out, almost like he is laughing at you and daring you to try and catch him :)

  • very lovely photos of your pups. love that shot of your son walking on air!

  • Lovely photos Jeanette. Maybe you should see if there is anyone in your area that does “dog walking” or that would do it for a small fee. We have people here that does that, it is aimed at people that work all day or for other reasons that are not able to walk their dogs. Some kennels even offer puppy daycare.

  • Huskies, like Malamutes are a major handful when they’re puppies. I remember when my Malamute was at the 18mth state I was wondering if he would ever grow up! But he did, and the rewards are so incredible. Honestly he was the most loyal incredible protective amazing dog ever. Still miss him. Can’t watch any movie with huskies or malamutes in without still balling my eyes out. So hang in there, yes, they will dig holes and eat things and drive you crazy but they are worth every minute! (my malamute decided to gnaw the pillars holding up our patio roof…good thing we noticed *before* it fell down.

  • Beautiful dog .. mischief in his eyes!!! Love the one with Connor off the ground!!

  • They are huge!!! I know a “personal trainer” that comes to your house if you need one – my Labradoodle seems to be getting better with this guy’s training…
