As I was exporting today’s photos from my camera this evening, I noticed that the I Heart Faces theme for the week was “Vroom Vroom”. What luck!! I had something to post for a change! LOL!
This post’s alternative title should really be “Why the Woolworths food aisle is bad for mothers”. Every single time we go grocery shopping, Connor whines and whinges until I buy him a “Thomas Egg” These tiny little Thomas Tank Engine trains are to be found in the middle of chocolate eggs. Connor is determined to get the full set, but as you can see we have ended up with quite a few doubles in the process.
I just love using my 50mm at night in my kitchen with the granite counter… the reflections are awesome!

Such a cool idea – love the reflection!
I like this picture for a lot of reasons. I like how its focused, and the reflection of the trains… and the face that someone else out there owns as many Thomas the Train toys as my son does.

You’re too nice! My kids have stopped asking me, because the answer is always NO. Even though I really want to buy them stuff like that, to be a ‘nice’ mommy, it just feels like I’m taking it up the keister from a company that is using an image to play on my guilty feelings. In fact, although I love woolworths with a passion, for all their good/oganic/preservative free stuff – and generally the quality of the fresh produce etc – I REFUSE to fall victim to that blasted check out line gauntlet. Just. Because.
