Alexis’ mom Nicky contacted me a few weeks ago via Twitter, after getting my name referred a few times when she asked about a photographer in the area.  Alexis was exactly 9 weeks old for her photoshoot today, and she’s such a cutie with the BIGGEST eyes! And I realised when I got home, and found their family blog, that she was born on my birthday… how awesome is that… she’s going to be one awesome chick )  !!

Today’s shoot wasn’t a walk in the park, because Alexis was not her usual easy going self, and she was extremely unhappy with what seemed to be a very sore tummy.  So we cut the shoot short after getting some nice photos… and I’m going to go back in a few weeks time to finish it off.

She might look uncomfortable here, but dad assured me that that’s how he carries her most days.
