Just before my birthday I put together a wishlist of stuff that I wanted to get, and put it on my other blog.  You might think that is strange, but my husband always asks me what I want and gets exactly what I tell him… and that’s no fun because there’s no element of surprise… mostly because he springs the question on me, and I react with one or two suggestions.

I was prepared this year though, and put together quite a list ;)

One of the items on the list was a brushed steel keyrack that I’d seen links to few months ago on another blog (can’t remember where).  In fact the other blog had refered to a keyrack that had Table Mountain etc… and that didn’t appeal to me… but the taxi and shack one did.  So I added it to my list… and the coat rack of the JHB skyline that’s also caught my fancy.

Well my birthday came and went… and I got great stuff… but not the key rack… until now :)

The company who manufactures them, New Moon Africa,  contacted me a few weeks ago via Twitter and asked me if they could send me one!   How cool is that?! I was thrilled!!  And I picked it up this morning from the post office.

In fact, that’s another story in itself… it’s the first time I’ve collected a parcel using my twitter handle as my name ;)   LOL, too funny, and the postman laughed at me when I giggled at the name and asked whether it was a joke. And then his eyes went wide when I said it was my twitter name… and he gave me the parcel without a fuss.

When I got home and showed Beauty the key rack, she fell in love with it too and exclaimed “It looks like a tiny town” :) hence the blog post name.  I love that it’s just so Jozi, yet it’s stylish (well, I think it is anyway)

OMG!! Just as I went to link to their site, I spotted the new floating shelves that they have designed… I like those too!  In fact imagine those in the acacia tree design… would look awesome!

I just love their stuff!

Anyhoo, guess Lance is going to have something to do this weekend… I’ve told him where the key rack must hang ;)
