I took the kids and dogs for a walk in the park again this evening, and decided to capture stuff other than the dogs (which are getting a little boring).  It sure was a challenge though, and most were taken with both dogs on lead in one hand and camera in the other (there were new dogs in the park that I wasn’t sure about so our huskies didn’t get to run free very much tonight)… and the rest taken while carrying Connor as he was exhausted after a day of playing at a friends house.

  • Last one is my favourite for sure!!! but we all know i adore a good sunset/sunrise :)

  • love the barbed wire. so cool.

  • Cool shots. The dogs have grown up nicely. :)

Lovely close up of the swing / see-saw.

  • I Love the colouration of the detail shots, specifically the contrast in the Protea (I think) shot-did you do it is Ps or is it an action?!

…And I agree with Michelle on the sunset – beautiful!

… While the puppies look very cute – they must be hard work!

    • @Emma… thanks :) I hardly use PS anymore, these were all done in Lightroom. All these were edited (apart from the last one which is virtually SOOC) using a Green Vintage preset from Christine Meintjies

  • Oh my – that sunset IS gorgeous!!
All photos are lovely .. I remember Granny used to pick those dead proteas (from that same park!) and always do flower arrangements in our house – then I had to keep them for Christmas arrangements :) !!

  • You have such an fantastic eye for detail.

  • Some good photo’s with amazing colour tones and techniques. You have an eye for unusual subjects!

  • I really like that brown/dead/dried flower.

  • Holy-Moly Jeanette (I could use other words, but I would rather not) these are gorgeous! Love the 3rd picture and the sunset!

  • When I first saw the barbed wire I thought it was a flower or a weed, awesome shot!
