I love the shot of dad throwing his boy up into the air. Such joy in his face.

Avril (Mom) (28 comments.) - August 1, 2010 - 7:40 am

Lovely set of keepsake photos ! Like the family one on the grass – also the ones with the brother and nephew – lovely to have a set of prints for him to take with him.

No .. no need – the arms tell a story

Janet (55 comments.) - July 31, 2010 - 1:13 pm

You’re right – you don’t need to see her little face, but can just imagine! What was she apprehensive about?

Stella (25 comments.) - July 31, 2010 - 7:20 am

awesome capture…

Cecily R (7 comments.) - July 30, 2010 - 10:34 pm

No you don’t and I LOVE the shot because of that very thing. So much emotion in those little crossed arms and the lighting is perfection!

203/365 – A detour up the hill

The traffic was insane this evening and I didn’t go my normal route home; AND I knew I was going to be too late to walk the dogs; AND the sun looked amazing, AND the sky was all murky… all those factors convinced me to take a small detour up Northcliff Hill before the sun...

Firefly (285 comments.) - July 30, 2010 - 9:06 am

I really like the second pic of the path with the sun. The sunsets up there are always a little better with the smoggyness around.

MaritzaPB - July 30, 2010 - 8:49 am

Lovely pics. Have some wonderful memories of that place. If you need a a safe and open vantage point for both the city and Sandton, let me know. World’s View has some great options. Would love to see what you can do with it at night and dawn/dusk.

Sharon (60 comments.) - July 30, 2010 - 8:41 am

How weird ~ I’m almost certain I replied to this earlier this morning but I don’t see my comment. Anyhoo I was saying that the 27 Dinners look like so much fun and that Don and I really must make a plan to come one evening.

Love the last photo of the hot chocolate and flake ~ it looks like it should be in a menu :)
