I met up with Leigh-Ann and Barend and their 3 kids this afternoon, at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens. I had initially thought that this shoot would be postponed for a while, because Leigh-Ann has just opened up a new shop in the Gourmet Market at Lifestyle, selling her natural body products, Tranquil Body Treats… but it turns out that her mom looked after the new shop while they had fun with me in the park 
After spending a few hours this afternoon with them, I take my hat off to them… 2 little kids with such a small age gap is hectic, Abigail is 15 months old and Logan is 5 months old! The girls are very cute, make no mistake, but wow what hard work! And as for Joshua, who at 8, is an awesome big brother who loved the attention and, I think, really enjoyed being asked to pull funny faces and go down little hidden pathways; and was always willing to carry Logan so I could get one or two shots with mom or dad.

Working with you has been the most enjoyable experience I’ve had with any photographer. You knew how to handle the kids and could improvise and adapt based on what happened, something a lot of photographers can’t/won’t do. These shots are absolutely awesome.
