Remember little Owen from a few months ago? Well, he’s not so little anymore, he’s already 3 and a half months old! Yolanda asked me to take photos at his baptism and then to join the family and friends at their celebration afterwards.
As part of the celebration, she also asked to me to take family photos of the extended family as they’re about to move the UK. Yip, that’s right, the second client in a month, where I’ve taken family photos before they leave the country!
Owen’s baptism took place at the St Therese’s Catholic Church in Alberton, South of Johannesburg this morning, and the get together afterwards was held at one of his granny’s houses close by.
And OMW he was such an unhappy chappy today. He didn’t want anything to do with the church or the priest. He cried the whole way through the service, and the poor priest was clearly unable to deal with all the noise
But anyhoo, the service was done, and then he stopped crying.
As for the photos, I didn’t use my flash in the church, as the priest didn’t want me using it while he talked… so I didn’t even get it out. As a result I’m quite impressed with my photos actually… all taken at ISO800 and ISO 1000 because it was quite dark.

your photography gets better and better
