Flowers again!! I know… it’s getting a little boring hey? I’m actually thinking that maybe I should stop my 365 challenge, call it quits.
Anyhoo, I got home late-ish again, so I bought some tulips just to take a photo of them
and of course, because they brighten up my house
. This time I did the unthinkable, I used my flash… which is very unusual for me. So for those interested, I added some moodiness in Lightroom… and now I like it!

I got a lot of questions about the photo I posted yesterday with the pinky texture, and in fact, I get the same questions every time I post a texture shot… would anyone like me to explain how I did it… I can post the steps tomorrow as a blog post. It was done with a combination of Lightroom and Photoshop.

DON’T STOP!!! Beautiful tulip, imagine you’ll have an amazing series on flowers which you can sell prints of…
If you post this can I copy & paste? Please?
Each flower photo is unique.

These are LOVELY! The tulip festival has been on in Ottawa for the past week, but I haven’t gotten to it yet!
Please dont’ stop the challenge, Jeanette!

Please do Jenty – I’d love to learn how to. I love the tulips though. Beautiful. I am also finding the 365 a challenge in the winter light conditions, but I have started putting them together in a photobook and that has really inspired me again. Like a snapshot of my life week by week.
Very lovely! I like the romantic feel
Please do Jenty – I’d love to learn how to do this, been wondering for a while now.
Hey girl! I don’t think you should stop. I think all your photos are fabulous, and have a purpose. keep it up.
I’m late to the take, but yes please, I’d like you to do a blog post on how to. Also, I don’t think flowers are boring. I think they make great artsy shots.
