It’s Connor’s birthday today, and my little baby is 3!! It seems only yesterday when I was getting told that I needed to have him today to risk heart failure!
I left work early this afternoon so that I could be there to see him blow the candles out on the cake that my mom made him (she makes the best chocolate cake in the world!). He insisted on wearing his crown from school for the cake session too 
He’s come a long way… this is a small collage from his first 10 days (which I’ve actually never put on this blog before). For those of you that don’t know the story, he was born at 35 weeks and spent 17 days in NICU. The full story is on my other blog under the tag NICU if you want to read about it.

I remember his birth and the subsequent worry afterwards as if it were yesterday. Happy Birthday little man, you had us all worried for a while.

I remember those worrying days as if it was yesterday. I see the little lion in his crib … we bought him that so that one day he’ll grow big and strong just like a lion – I think he has !!
What a special blessing he is! I love hearing about his antics – he is such a little character!

I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday! Mom called when I was sitting in the Ice Hotel in Sweden. I so wished I could have been there! I can believe the little monster is 3! Happy Birthday baby boy!
