Bradley’s Grade 1 homework has started.  Thankfully it’s easy enough for him to do it while I’m cooking supper.  It doesn’t take that long either, the teachers don’t like them doing homework for more than 15 minutes a day.

And in fact today, he stayed at home because he has a sinus infection causing fevers etc… but he still had to do his homework when I got home :)

  • Good boy Bradley Bear .. that’s nice and neat !

  • he’s so neat for a boy. Well done Bradley and mum for supervising homework.

  • What an awesome capture! It has a very serene feel to it. if you kwim? Hope he feels better soon!

  • that’s so lovely jenty! i love the focus both on the writing and the side of his face. very nice – and yes, such neat writing too!

  • Oh I remember those days.

    Lovely shot

  • Homework :s Very boring I remember. :D

    Nice photograph.

  • Glad they don’t overload them with homework. 15 minutes a day is more than enough. It was quite a bone of contention with the inspectors when I was teaching 100 years ago! They didn’t agree with overloading the kids at all whereas a lot of teachers did! They still need time to play and be children – after all, their school career is a long one!

  • Lovely picture! I hope he feels better soon. And look how neatly he writes.

  • i remember doing all those exercises while at school….i’m kinda miff that they don’t teach kids cursive any more – although as soon as we were allowed to, i switched to regular writing – much better – but cursive is still a nice skill to have :)

  • Joshua is also home today with a fever, poor thing. I complained non stop last year because the kids received so much homework, I don’t think this year is gonna be any better :( Fortunately he is old enough to do most of it on his own.

  • I love how you’ve shot and edited this pic Jeanette. We are finding that Ethan’s Grade 2 homework is less than last years. His homework would sometimes take up to 45 minutes so I’m hoping they decided it was too much and brought it down for this year.

  • I have actually never thought of taking piocs of Dylan doing homework.

  • Very neat. Keep it up!

  • wow, beautiful neat handwriting, well done Bradley

  • That’s lovely.
    He’s concentrating so hard :)
