I had such fun today with Addie’s family.   Addie is a local blogger, who found my link via another local blog… and to cut a long story short… I met her and her family today to do their family portraits.  We went to the Pretoria Botanical Gardens for the photos, and I was most impressed with the place.  I’d never actually been there before, but most a magnificent setting for photos! That waterfall is just too perfect with all the pathways under the trees.

And OMW, what a lot of walking and climbing we did.  LOL, I hope they had fun, even though I gave them quite a workout walking up all the hills and down again to look for photo spots.

When we walked down a path, and spotted an area covered in pink flowers, I just had to get some photos with Chloe in front of the flowers, they were just the perfect colour!

And of course, Caleb refused to sit in front of the pink…

This is fast becoming one of my favourite family poses.

We couldn’t be serious all the time.  We spent time pulling faces, running races, jumping and dancing.

Adele said that Caleb loved running races against Dad, so I just HAD to get them to run for the camera.  I think Leonard thought I was joking in the beginning

The last 2 are my favourite photos.  Caleb found an old anthill and started leaping off it… the only anthill in sight!

It was a lovely afternoon, and I hope I managed to capture the kids personalities.
