Peek-a-boo

I’m finishing off the editing of the maternity shoot I did a few weeks ago, I know… I’m very late with this one, and I just have to show you these photos I took of little T…

… I’ve got a “thing” for monochrome photos in a more photojournalistic style at the moment

Carolyn,

On the first one, I used the PW Fresh and Colourful action, and then reduced the opacity to about 30%, and then I added a layer with the Black and White Gradient Map.
On the second one, I only used the B&W gradient map – I’m liking that B&W conversion more and more for a PJ feel.

Your black and whites always have a great feel to them. Like you said, very photojournalistic. Love it! Can I ask if/what conversion you used on both shots?

The first one is an excellent shot! Love the perspective and the expression on his face and it works very well in monochrome.
