These are definitely my “weekly winners”. We went to a boys dream party yesterday afternoon. It was held on the grandfather’s farm outside Magaliesburg. The owner actually MADE the bike track last weekend with his tractor especially for the party!
My little monster was the first one to have a turn going around the track… and before you start commenting about the lack of helmets they were going really slowly (until the kids got off the tracks later and the adults started racing with their helmets)
Then the paintball guns got loaded and the kids had fun with target practise (no, they weren’t shooting each other)
My little monster really tried, but his fingers were too short 
Then it was time for the cake – a complicated design with the Hulk and army men to protect him and even a tank somewhere in the mix 
For a change, I used my Sigma 70-300mm APO lens for the afternoon (apart from the last shot with the cake which was taken with my 24-70mm f2.8).
Wow what a fantastisc party. You captured the kids excited faces so well, well done. These pictures are amazing!!
WOW.. total jealously on this end..my boys would love that party.. LOOK AT THAT cake!!! Looks like an amazing time was had by all!!

Wow that really was a boy’s party!! No tea or pink ruffles anywhere! It looks like it was a lot of fun and you got some great photo’s.
Fantastic!! Glad it was worth going all that way and the boys had a great time. Sounds like a really cool party!!! I can imagine Connor – never afraid to go in ‘guns blazing’ ie first on the quads and needing to try the gun even though his fingers are too short!!! OMW he’s such a wild child!

Boys will be boys, and it looks as though they had a whole heap of fun! We off to Magaliesburg tomorrow on the steam train with a whole crowd of friends! Looking forward to that!
