I had the pleasure of taking photos of the Owen family on Sunday afternoon at the ruin in Muldersdrift.
L and K have a 2 year old son, T, who is getting a baby sister in a few weeks time, which he’s not too concerned about at all. He had an absolute ball in the old house; using old bricks as balls, playing with guinea fowl feathers and using grass strands as swords; and was not at all interesting in my attempts to getting photos of him with his parents. We had to work very fast to get some family shots before he ran off to discover something new.
I enjoyed the afternoon, and I think that I captured the essence of the family, so I hope they like the more family oriented photo-journalistic style of maternity photos that are in this sneak peak.
