The boys were watching Charlie and Lola at my mom’s house this afternoon, and the program was about Lola being scared of thunder. Now Connor is petrified of thunder… and even a little scared of just rain, so laughed this evening when I got to my mom’s house after work to find Connor running around the garden banging a baking tray and pretending to be thunder (just like Lola did in the program).
And not to be outdone… Bradley was following him with the rain-stick!
And eventually the thunder and rain just had to blow over

They were just so cute making their ‘storm’ – maybe it’ll help – it helped Lola who was afraid of the thunder! Oh no – that means I have to put up with all that noise the whole of winter before we get our storms again – not so clever of me!

We don’t get that much thunder and lightning down here in Port Elizabeth, but on Thursday night we had the most amazing thunderstorm raining buckets… no… dump truck loads of water down on us.
