Remember the ruin where I took photos of my sister, Elaine (who now has a blog btw) and her boyfriend Bryan (who has now designed a blog for his sister who is travelling around Africa)…

… well, I went there again late this afternoon to see if it was still there… and still had no fences around it. The idea is to maybe use it for a TTD session in a few weeks time. Our preferred option was a car graveyard but the one I’d heard about no longer exists (so I discovered after a long a fruitless search).
Anyhoo… how’s the light in the photos? Seriously, it is basically SOOC. It was just after 5pm, and I think that it would even be a little dark to take photos in the house at that time… but OMW I love that golden light there! I got similar light the first time I went there with Elaine, and I reckon I can handle it better now and get better quality photos. They’re not the best photos in the world, but they can give a good indication of the light and the shadows.

The only thing is… it would be serious bundu bashing. I could not find the path that we walked down the last time at all!! We would have to make our own path through the high grass and everyone would have to be prepared for blackjacks etc. Anyhoo, the aim of this post is to show the other 2 photogs what the place looks like, and to show the “models” what they would be dealing with if we decided to go there.
… and lastly… here’s the view on the other side of the road looking towards the sun setting.

I love the first pic Jeanette! But the ruin is any photographers dream site! I would love to have something like that nearby!

The lighting is awesome and the colours are so rich and warm. I really like it and I think it would make a great location for TTD!
