Celia phoned me on Thursday afternoon. She was very excited because India’s casts had been removed from her legs (her feet needed to be corrected because they’d grown skew in the womb), so we could do her newborn photos!! Remember Celia and Allen from the maternity shoot I did a few weeks ago in the veld with the old car? Well, India is their beautiful baby.
And OWM she made us work hard for the photos. When I got to their house yesterday afternoon, Celia and Allen both said that she’s still very sleepy so we shouldn’t have a problem. LOL! She proved us all wrong, so in the end I had to do an awake photoshoot, which wasn’t too bad because she looked so darn cute in the beanies
I love this photo, because even though her face is a little milk drunk… check out her hand holding Allen’s thumb.
Celia spotted the seed pods hanging from the date palm outside their kitchen yesterday morning, and Allen HAD to saw some off for the photoshoot, so even though she wasn’t sleeping and I couldn’t get the nice curled up shots we were hoping for, we still have fun trying to get her to pose in it
