We went to Marlise’s house yesterday for prawns (made by Madi’s husband who is the KING of prawns), and I caught the kids all sitting in a row in the garden waiting for Marlise’s husband to give them a fire demonstration. It was the only time of the entire day that they sat still!

Ok, I would have sat still for a fire demonstration too. 
It’s a great shot though of them all waiting patiently. Not something that happens often with kids. LOL

Marlise and her hubby believe that it’s better to show the kids how to light fires properly and safely rather than letting them experiment.
So yesterday’s fire was more than just a little spectacular with chlorine and brake fluid… with everyone sitting very far away from it.
