This Salvation Army dude was walking down my mom’s road yesterday afternoon playing Christmas Carols. His instrument was so battered, yet the music he was playing was fantastic. Poor dude, I hope he got home before the storm yesterday.
It was lovely for the kids to watch. Connor was fascinated because it’s the first time he’s see someone playing a real instrument live; and Bradley was very interested because their theme at school this week was music.
I’m hoping the second one is good enough for camera club, what do you think?

I sincerely love the second and third one, together. How do they feel about diptychs at the camera club?

What a great story. I love to watch people make music from battered old instruments. Is that weird — it reminds me of that poem “The Touch of the Master’s Hand.”
These pictures are all great, I think the third one is my favorite.

My PSF entry this week : in HERE. Hope you have time to visit . Thanks
I remember, as a little girl, knowing Christmas was on its way when the Sally Army band came by! Also reminds me of Scrooge! Lovely photos as always Jeanette!
I have to say that I like the first one best! But they are all brilliant and the last one also has a special feel to it. How lucky are you to have been able to get that on camera!

My Sofia also was fastinated when a week ago she saw a man playing the saxophone. It’s a pity that we don’t have piano now, so I can’t play for her:(
I kinda like the third one better

hi, love the pictures, been trying to find your email addy, but can’t seem to. Drop me a email once you get the chance
That is so cool… I would enjoy that so much more than the seeing the bell ringers in front of every store through the holidays. I think all your shots are good enough for the camera club!

All 3 shots are nice. I like the second one but I like the last one best. Playing music while walking down an empty street something about it just shows his strength of character.
