I’ve almost finished proofing Fiona’s maternity photos from last Sunday, so I thought I’d post a few more of my favourites… and I know she’s dying to get them, so hope she’ll like to see a few more
.
And here’s another photo of my sister Elaine, from the day she got her results
Then on Friday afternoon, Fiona and Ethan came over to our house for a swim… and a glass of wine… and look what we found floating in the pool!! Isn’t it HUGE? I needed the wine glass to show how big it was.
And yesterday, I met a few bloggers for the first time at The Kid’s birthday party. I thoroughly enjoyed the day, but I can’t post many photos because I got asked not to post any of the kids. I’ll send the photos to the mom’s in question, and then they can decide what to post on their own blogs.
and Angel….
… she’s Ms Cupcake Extraordinaire! Aren’t they the MOST stunning cupcakes?
…and that’s it for the week!

I didn’t only take photos of Fiona at the old car when we did her maternity shoot on Sunday. And these photos are perfect for this week’s Metal photohunt (I haven’t taken part in photohunt for a few weeks).
Most of my blogging this week has been about Bradley!! That hasn’t happened in a long time. And yes, this is about him again!
I had to pick Bradley up from school today, and when that happens it’s impossible for me to leave the kids at home with Beauty, so I stayed at home this afternoon. Fiona came to visit and the kids had a ball playing in the pool. Bradley’s swimming is just getting better and better, he was even swimming underwater today for the first time! WOW!
When they got tired of the pool, they got dressed as superheroes. Now, it may not be that special to you… but my child has NEVER liked dressing up even though he has a whole basket of dress-up stuff that I’ve bought him over the years to try and encourage him. He had a ball being Batman this afternoon. It was so lovely to watch them play with the balls in their superhero outfits
Batman on a Mission
Shadow of the ball
Even Connor felt the need to dress up today!
My cutie Spiderman
He took these yesterday after I took the photos of Elaine. He’s developing quite a good eye… these were all taken with my 50mm lens. Not bad for a 5 year old hey?!
He was quite funny afterwards when I was looking at the photos he’d taken and I’d commented on how good they were: “It’s easy Mommy, all you have to do is stand veeeery still and click… and then your photos will be perfect… like mine!”
Granny and Papa – I just have to coach him with people shots a bit.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the US peeps that read my blog.

OK, this isn’t quite wordless, but I have to explain…. my baby sister (that’s her in yellow below) got her final results today… she passed her honours degree Cum Laude! Isn’t that incredible? We’re so very proud of her!
She’s worked so hard for it, I’m so pleased that she made it with full distinctions!
