I went on a course this week. The training company’s offices were in Sunninghill and the tea station was on the roof with the most magnificent views of the city. This photo does not really do the view justice, but I’m going back next week (for another course) and I’m going to try and take a panoramic shot with my wide-angle lens.
In the distance on the horizon on the left is Johannesburg city, and the closer tall buildings on the right are in Sandton. You can also see the dark rain clouds approaching from the left, there was gorgeous rain later that day.

I’m going to be scarce for the next few days. Our lines at home are not working, so I’m internetless!! Not actually sure how I’m going to cope actually

Wow that’s a gorgeous view! Looking forward to seeing another shot next week.

It’s an amazing view of the 2 cities provided you know what you’re looking at. Thanks for the info.

People joke about Port Elizabeth’s wind, but it blows our pollution away. Last time I was in Johannesburg I was in Midrand and could not even see the city in the distance.
Your pic is great. I like all the sky you have left open at the top.
great photo, looking forward to next weeks shot…….
