Scary! I’m glad there nothing happened but the meltdown. Dryers are so fascinating because they are at ground level though. My 3 year old is always putting things in ours too.
It is a blessing no more damage was done. Toddlers keep you on your toes. I still remember finding a dozen burnt matchsticks in a pile on the floor in the back of my closet. I knew my 3 yr. old son was intrigued with striking the stick to create a flame and I thought I had all the matches safely put away. Scary.
Now that beats the pink lipstick marks on the walls and my (used to be) white sheets! Am on my way to unplug hairdryer. Kids – always one step ahead of you!
oh no Jenty – glad you guys were okay. That must have been scary too… sure beats mine.
Our now 15yr old at 4yrs set fire to a broom with bbq lighter. It was in a portable office and some guy said to us- hey you have steam coming out the window of the bathroom…. WE RAN – THERE WAS NO hot water connected and got there just in time. The kid ran the other direction …
