I love the 70-300mm Sigma lens! I’ve finally been able to get a good shot of the pair of Louries that nest next door. They were both feeding on an orange berry creeper that hangs over our wall when I got the shot. It’s just a pity you can’t see the crest on their heads in the photo.

Louries are also known as “go-away” birds because their call sounds like they’re saying “go-’way go’way” – and that’s a much easier name to teach kids about what the birds are called.
